Our son was diagnosed with Type 1 (Insulin-Dependent) Diabetes this year. Most childcare facilities turn down families with children with Diabetes because the daily care of a diabetic child is daunting. Discovery Point stepped up to the plate! Our son's caregivers during the school day have all been thoroughly trained in every aspect of diabetes management and care. It's wonderful to know that there is a Pre-K program that is able to educate him and manage his healthcare needs at the same time. I tell all my friends and family about how wonderful Discovery Point has been to us and more importantly to our son.
